Affiliate disclosure
Stock Broker Review is reader-supported. When you click a "Visit broker" button on the site and sign up with that broker, we may earn a commission. This page explains how that works, what it means for you, and — importantly — what it does not affect.
How affiliate links work
Most "Visit broker" buttons on the site are affiliate links. We use a tracking parameter to attribute sign-ups to Stock Broker Review. The link takes you to the broker's own website; you create your account directly with them. The price you pay is exactly the same as if you had visited the broker without our link.
What affiliate revenue funds
Affiliate commissions pay for hosting, content research, and the editorial team's time. Without them we would not be able to keep the comparison tables current or publish free articles.
What affiliate revenue does NOT do
Affiliate revenue does not influence our rankings, scores, or inclusion decisions. Specifically:
- A broker is not added to the database because it has an affiliate program. Brokers are added because they are regulated, accessible, and relevant to our audience.
- A broker does not rank higher because it pays a higher commission. The trust score is based on regulation, transparency, and platform quality.
- A broker is not removed from the database because it does not have an affiliate program. If a broker is genuinely the best option for a user, we will recommend it and link to it without a tracking parameter.
- We do not accept payment to publish a review, change a score, or alter an article.
- Sponsored content, if we ever publish it, is clearly labelled at the top of the article with a "Sponsored" tag.
Affiliate partners
We have affiliate relationships with a subset of the brokers in our database. The "Visit broker" button looks identical whether or not the broker is an affiliate partner; we don't visually distinguish them.
(To be filled in if/when required by local regulation: a list of affiliate partners, or a statement of the percentage of brokers in the database that are affiliate partners.)
Our editorial independence
The editorial team has no financial stake in any broker they review. Trust scores are derived from a published methodology (see our about page) and may change if a broker changes its offering. If a relationship changes, we update the article and the score, not the other way around.
